This session will explore the WIDA Framework as a foundation for equitable instruction, highlight the Multiple Measures Tool (MMT) as an official alternate exit pathway for multilingual learners, and share practical schoolwide practices that strengthen collaboration and student success. Learn how clear structures and shared responsibility can transform ML support from an isolated initiative into a seamless, schoolwide commitment that empowers both educators and students.

This interactive session builds foundational leadership capacity by helping principals identify, understand, and support effective Tier 1 mathematics instruction using SAVAAS enVision Mathematics.

Participants will unpack district expectations for math instruction, learn key look-fors aligned to rigorous, standards-based teaching, and explore how to recognize evidence of student thinking, discourse, and problem-solving in the classroom. The session also introduces practical leadership moves for protecting the math block, supporting teacher development, and using walkthroughs and PLCs to strengthen instructional consistency.
