This interactive session builds foundational leadership capacity by helping principals identify, understand, and support effective Tier 1 mathematics instruction using SAVAAS enVision Mathematics.

Participants will unpack district expectations for math instruction, learn key look-fors aligned to rigorous, standards-based teaching, and explore how to recognize evidence of student thinking, discourse, and problem-solving in the classroom. The session also introduces practical leadership moves for protecting the math block, supporting teacher development, and using walkthroughs and PLCs to strengthen instructional consistency.

Leaders will leave with a clear set of math look-fors, greater confidence in observing math instruction, and actionable next steps to support high-quality mathematics teaching and learning across their school.
