About me
Sarah-Fawn W. McLamb is the K-12 Arts Education Teaching and Learning Specialist for Johnston County Public Schools. Prior to her current role, Mrs. McLamb served as a Music Teacher/Choral Director for over 20 years. With experience in elementary, middle, and high School positions, most recently at Corinth Holders High School (CHHS) in Wendell, NC. Her choral ensembles consistently earned Excellent and Superior ratings in performance and sight-reading (music literacy) and multiple national awards in competitions from New York to Atlanta. In 2019, the CHHS Honors Chorus was invited to perform alongside professional Disney performers and Whoopi Goldberg in the Disney Epcot Candlelight Processional, an honor earned through an audition process. Mrs. McLamb serves on the North Carolina Music Educators Association (NCMEA) High School Chorus Executive Board as the Educational Activities Chair. She is the Past Chair of the NCMEA High School All-State Choral Festival. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Meredith College and a Master's in School Administration from the University of North Carolina Pembroke.
