With 27 years in education, Latonya H. Pender has dedicated her career to advancing literacy and supporting student achievement across grade levels. She has served as a middle and high school English teacher, Reading Facilitator, AIG Specialist, Instructional Resource Teacher, Literacy Coach, and District ELA/SS Curriculum Facilitator. Currently, she serves as Director of K-12 ELA/SS Curriculum for Johnston County Public Schools.
