Jessica Sopko is a 9-12 ELA Teaching and Learning Specialist who works closely with teachers and school leaders to strengthen instruction and support student achievement. She partners with educators to translate standards and best practices into meaningful, classroom-ready experiences that engage students in real thinking and learning.
In her work, Jessica is especially passionate about helping teachers create classrooms where students wrestle with complex texts, share ideas, and build confidence as readers and writers. She values practical strategies, honest reflection, and the kind of professional learning that respects teachers’ expertise while pushing practice forward.
Grounded in a commitment to student-centered instruction, Justine focuses on purposeful questioning, authentic engagement, and creating space for every student voice.
