JCPS Leadership 2026

Chase Ferrell has served JCPS over the last 20 years as an Assistant Principal, Principal, Central Office team member, and currently serves as the Safety and Security Officer for the district on the Superintendent's Cabinet.  His passion is undeniably school safety.  He firmly believes that student and staff safety is the foundation for teaching and learning.  He has brought many important safety initiatives to the district.  Some of them include weapons detection systems, Say Something Anonymous Reporting System, RAVE Panic button, Standard Response Protocol, and the district's door locking policy.
