About me
Britney Gibson, a graduate of Johnston County Public Schools, earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from North Carolina State University. She began her professional career in child welfare, working closely with youth in the foster care system. For the past seven years, Mrs. Gibson has served as the McKinney-Vento and Foster Care Liaison, where she is deeply committed to ensuring that some of the district’s most vulnerable students have access to their educational rights and support services. In her personal time, she enjoys camping with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs.
