A Johnston County native and proud product of Johnston County Public Schools, Alison Brown brings more than 20 years of experience and leadership in gifted and advanced learning education. Guided by the belief that all students can learn and that every child deserves to discover something new each day, she is deeply committed to fostering student growth and potential.
Alison has served Johnston County Public Schools in a variety of roles, including National Board Certified and K–12 AIG Teacher, Teaching and Learning Coach, MTSS/Advanced Learning Program Specialist, and currently, District Advanced Learning Program Specialist.
She is passionate about recognizing student potential, cultivating talent, and ensuring that students’ academic, intellectual, and social-emotional needs are supported through meaningful differentiated instruction. Alison considers it both a joy and a privilege to collaborate with administrators, teachers, and parents alike to strengthen and support advanced learning opportunities for all.
