As the Assistant Superintendent for Exceptional Children for Johnston County Public Schools, Jill brings over a decade of leadership experience as an EC Director across various district sizes. She holds degrees from Western Carolina University and NC State, having transitioned from a dedicated special education teacher to a veteran special education administrator over the course of her 26 years in education. A committed advocate for the field, Jill has also been an active leader on the NCCASE Board since 2019. She is committed to ensuring that students receive high quality instruction in the least restrictive environment.
